Christine Hayes teaches K-5 General Music/Choir/World Drumming at Lincoln Elementary in the Whitewater Unified School District. She has served on the 2014 National Core Standards for Music writing team for General Music Grades 3-5, piloted national Cornerstone Assessments, served on the 2017 writing team for new WMEA WI State Standards and is currently chair of the dynamic WMEA Standards Committee. In addition, she is a Past- Chair of the NAfME Council for General Music Education and a past WMEA President. Christine has her M.M. from Northwestern University and B.M.E. from Central Michigan University. She is proud to be a music education advocate and a passionate educator!
