Robert Knox is the director of choirs and bands at Florence Middle/High School in the School District of Florence County. This is his twelfth year at Florence. In his time at Florence, the instrumental music program has nearly tripled in size and has added programming such as music theory, music history, jazz band, and recording technology, which includes a student-run podcast. His bands and choirs consistently earn high ratings at Solo and Ensemble and Large Group Festival, including multiple class A concert band awards, one of only two schools in the Northern Lakes Conference to earn such accolades. His bands have performed in Minneapolis and Nashville as well. Robert is a 2009 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh.
